‘A busy start to December’
A lot stood out for me during the last week: the rampant Chinese market, the plummeting Japanese yen, the farce of the latest ECB monthly conference and the US economy still creating jobs. December a quiet month? Forget it…
So what have been my highlights of the last week?
‘A busy start to December’
A lot stood out for me during the last week: the rampant Chinese market, the plummeting Japanese yen, the farce of the latest ECB monthly conference and the US economy still creating jobs. December a quiet month? Forget it…
So what have been my highlights of the last week?
- China sees red leading to crazy market volumes;
- Asia really does save (and the emerging markets are cheap);
- US: creating jobs but a stock market valuation bubble too;
- Europe cuts growth and inflation hopes…but at least it is not Russia;
- The UK Autumn Statement is suitably mixed;
- There’s no (seasonal) need to be depressed at all!
Feel free to contact me on any aspect of the above…or anything else in fact.
