Stories we should be thinking about
Macro matters:
So the G20 communique was solidly boring...to allow
the leaders to go on holiday?!

drafts unanimous communique”
Although
there were some fascinating observations e.g.
Vladimir Putin said in Hamburg
today after the G20: "The TV Trump is not the real Trump."
However hard not to think that future meetings will
come back to trade and related issues
And then as shown
in the pictures on the next page the political angst implied by the protests/violence
on display shows that there is plenty for the world’s leaders to continue to
worry about…
And of course markets remain excitable after a
generally good-to-great H1…
