Weekly links - including an online investment conference invite!

Well...what a week.  As shown by the graphic in last week's links, we are now in deep corporate earnings season.  Pleasingly though I have got through every piece of analysis I wanted to this week...I think.  As for next week, a bunch of high profile American technology stock, UK banks and a myriad of industrial and consumer names await.  And just a little bit of upcoming central bank action too:

Good job I am locked down working away at my desk!

Before we get onto the 'usual' weekly links, a quick announcement about an online investment conference I am participating in.  You can find all the details here.  So many great speakers and all the talks, insights and information will apparently be available from Saturday 9th May until Christmas Day.  Looking forward to recording my contributions (covering share tips, macro musing and a 'Desert Island books' section) and participating in some chat rooms on the day!

Otherwise - when I was not grappling with the markets and/or the quarterly corporate earnings season - I talked here on the VOX Markets podcast about some UK stocks of the day

I also wrote/published a variety of articles on ShareProphets.  Three of my favourites are...

Resilience matters: compare and contrast Whitbread with the troubled Travelodge

Fevertree's 2019 results prove to be a tonic...but what about the Covid-19 mixer?...

Even if you panic-bought PG Tips & Domestos recently…Unilever shares are still borrrrrrrrrring
