Macro matters:

Shall we start with the UK?  I agree with this report via Markit that:

‘...much will depend on consumer confidence improving, which will in turn most likely hinge to a large extent on how Brexit negotiations affect the economic outlook’

And on the question of Brexit it looks like a politically messy next couple of years with articles like this one highlighting continued debates over the future UK/(continuing) EU legal relationship with quotes like:

"never mind Theresa May’s foolish red line we'll have the ECJ in all but name"

Of course the UK is not the only politically messy / spilling into the economy appears that the US populace might prefer gas station sushi to their President in this great chart via @RANsquawk (overleaf)...

And of course this risks impacting the markets...
