Financial Orbit wrap 26/11/15

Five sentences or graphics which sum up the Financial Orbit output over the last 24 hours across the website, twitter account and anything else thought about...

1. Meanwhile Happy 25th Birthday to the Shanghai Stock Exchange! Since its birth SHCOMP has gained 3,483% (S&P500 532%, MSCI EM 348%).

(h/t @HaidiLun)

2. Most interesting chart from today's Remy Cointreau numbers. Weak helped out but still not easy/China patchy
3. Developed market vs emerging market - I think we can guess where mean-reversion or momentum investors stand on which of the two to prefer...

4. Interesting regional economic growth observation via @sobata416:

Real GDP growth since Q1 2008:
US: +10% Japan: Flat Euro zone: Flat

5. Meanwhile as we all wait for Black Friday...

...the European markets were actually in reasonably good cheer on Thanksgiving Day.

"FTSE 100 enjoys best two-day bounce since early Oct" - all of 7 weeks ago!

European stocks close at 3-month highs

Of course much of it is due to hopes for more QE.  As noted on Fast FT

the weight of expectations is already enormous.
