Financial Orbit wrap 05/08/15

Five sentences or graphics which sum up the Financial Orbit output over the last 24 hours across the website, twitter account and anything else thought about...

1. Thinking about China, interesting on brands in the country...

(h/t @S_Rabinovitch, @HaidiLunCNA)

(is this why a number of companies are talking specific weaknesses in China beyond the general slowdown?)

2. Disney shares ended down over 9%.  I review why this has occurred...and at what level to buy the shares (link here).

3. I review prospects at two spin-outs of the last couple of years (both from ING): Voya and NN Group both of which reported today (link here).

4. ADP Employment change numbers were not the greatest...implying anything about US job growth (and maybe propensity to raise interest rates?)

5. The US all-sector PMI was workable...

...whilst in Europe I observed: ' on today's EZ PMI composite nos 'the region looks set to grow by at least 1.5% in 2015'. Not v exciting'
