Financial Orbit wrap 09/03/15

Five sentences or graphics which sum up the Financial Orbit output over the last 24 hours across the website, twitter account and anything else thought about...

Slightly early wrap today...

1. Japan - revisions to fourth-quarter gross domestic product hurt sentiment. The new report estimated the economy grew just 0.4% in Q4 down from an already-disappointing 0.6% reading.  Admittedly main drag on the revisions was inventories, whereas consumption and exports were revised up. Less good however was that business spending, originally up 0.2% from the prior quarter, is now estimated to have contracted by 0.1%.

2. I write about the WPP FY14 results in my latest Yahoo Finance Contributors column with the observation that there were some compelling sector and stock insights:

3. The Telecity-Interxion data centre operator proposed merger got a step closer...and an impressive deal it sounds too.  I added to my long in Telecity today.

4. Talking about data I review the latest Ericsson Mobility Report and conclude that data is a massive and compelling theme...

...but that Ericsson's stock is not the place to be looking.

5. It is all going to be about the Apple Watch later...
