Financial Orbit wrap 09/02/15

Five sentences or graphics which sum up the Financial Orbit output over the last 24 hours across the website, twitter account and anything else thought about...

1. I am afraid the signalling from negative bond yields remains very cautious/indicative of a warped backdrop...

2. With the talk of further restrictions being imposed on Chinese brokerage account margin levels and the ability of firms to sell product no surprises that the Shanghai bourse is stuttering a little above the 3,000 index point mark and loan demand (despite money supply growth) is slipping:

3. My latest Yahoo Finance Contributors column talked about some of imbalances of this world

4. Fabulous set of numbers from Randgold Resources by far and away my favourite gold equity.  I remain materially long (especially in my pension fund).

5. Asia is not loving McDonald's...and neither am I having sold my small shareholding last week.
