Interesting charts today: internet penetration, £ trade weighted and...experience/achievement

Three charts of general interest today...

Internet penetration rates in 2012.  Whilst I am sure it has pushed on further since, this chart is all you need to know if you were wondering why the internet and related remains very much a global growth theme.

This chart from the Financial Times highlights the recent rise of Sterling on the often now shown trade-weighted basis...admittedly after the global financial crisis induced large slump of 2007-9.

Finally, this chart (sourced from this excellent article) shows that noted achievements (in science) seem to be happening later and later in life... it is definitely an 'experience required' world, in my view, in the investing markets...good news for anyone a certain side of 40
